Microsoft buys Research in Motion – the creator of BlackBerry?

By Detector | 12 October 2008

According to Reuters, the drop share price of Research in Motion (RIM), creator of BlackBerry can be good deal for Microsoft – expert said. In just four months, the RIM shares faced rapidly price drop from $148 to only $60, and the current stock crisis will not help for better feature either. This situation can be used by Microsoft because the company has big amount of money in the banks for friendly or aggressively acquisition of BlackBerry company. This deal will be very useful for company from Redmond, because Apple already has experience in mobile market with a very popular iPhone, and Google also enter in mobile phone business with Android operating system for G1 phone, so the Microsoft wants share of fast grow and profitable business.

Microsoft already has an offer for buying Research in Motion for $50 for a share and the offer is still on.

Microsoft can also use the stock crisis for realizing the acquisition of Yahoo for a half a price per share than the first offer. If both deals happen, the Redmond company will have an good internet service for competing with Google and also perfect mobile phone for competing with Apple.

So does it mean that companies with lot of deposit can insure the bright feature?? I think yes.
