Microsoft Live Search on Facebook

By Detector | 08 October 2008

On Oct. 24, the software giant Microsoft prevailed in its bid for a stake in Facebook. The arrangement gives Microsoft control over the placement of banner ads and minor changes on Facebook outside the U.S., where about 60% of Facebook’s active users reside. After Microsoft and Facebook agreement here is the result: Microsoft integrate Microsoft Live search into Facebook pages!

Facebook from today use Microsoft Live search as default search engine. The search is added at top left part of Facebook pages and the search results are integrated as part of Facebook.

How this will help to Microsoft in popularization of its search engine service we will see in near feature. As we know – Google with its search engine integrated Firefox and IE is number one at this time. So, good luck Microsoft.
