MSE360 – beta release of new search engine

By Detector | 18 October 2008

Beta release of new search engine named MSE360 is online. I prefer to said that MSE360 is “technical” name, but as we know from the Google example, name is not to important – traffic is the king.

The good part of new search engine is that with “Search Results”, you can get Wiki and pictures as well at the same page. The search speed is impressing and I found the site to be good formatted. Also I found information I never would have found from Google (not at first 10 results).

The bad part is sometimes the search can return some tweak results, I get 2 or 3 times “Can’t connect to local MySQL server” error and 2 times “Bandwidth Limit Exceeded” error, but it is beta release and I hope that all of those issues will be fixed.

Overall, it is new search engine (September 2008) with very impressive search algorithm and I will continue to use it. Even though Google has vastly improved over the years, I never use it exclusively anyway. Search engines are so complex and there are just so many sites out there, I find it most efficient to use two or three search engines as a compliment or a tandem for best results.

MSE360 has a lot of promise and I will let you know if anything odd happens. Check it out at http://www.mse360.com

Same here. I use other search engines like Find.com in my search and not just Google.
