Windows tip: Hide your computer from network neighborhood

This is another useful DetectorPro.com tip for Windows users. If you want to share files from a XP computer, but also want to remove it from showing up in the Network Neighborhood there is a simple command which you must run it as administrator and from command prompt:

  1. Go to Run
  2. Type CMD, press ENTER
  3. Type in command prompt:
    net config server /hidden:yes
