Linux tip: How to install MEncoder from the command line

MEncoder is a command-line tool in Linux to encode and decode videos. Here is short step-tutorial how to install it (from the command line):

  1. Install MEncoder:
    sudo apt-get install mencoder

  2. Here is some documentation on ripping and transcoding.
