Apple withdrawn a software upgrade (patch) which was supposed to correct a problem with showing images on Macbook laptops when the external monitor is connected to the mini DisplayPort through adapter cable for Dual-Link DVI.

In fact, after releasing the patch in Monday, which was supposed to solve the problem, the web page with download link are not more available.

In Apple have not officially commented this move, but according to comments on the forums can be concluded that the patch does not fully resolve the problem, and in some cases it is even deteriorate.
