IBM patented dodge bullet

By Detector | 16 February 2009

Do you remember the scenes from Matrix movie where Neo dodge bullets? IBM Team thinks that the dodge bullet could be achieved and their patent is approved.

IBM team work on a system where external sensor monitors the area, and it can monitor the trajectory of shooting bullets. If tracking device (software behind it) estimate that bullet is shot near the protected person, electrical device installed on the body of protected person stimulate muscles on the parts of the body – or whole body, to move it from the bullet trajectory.

This system could well serve the public persons for which there is the possibility of assassination, like the president and other senior government officials.

The system is designed as an alternative (or supplement) “bulletproof” life-jackets, which are not entirely sure, because there are munitions that can penetrate them.
