PCLinuxOS, extremely popular Linux distribution (a long time kept the leading position on Distrowatchu) finally release the new version, after two years break.

The team behind the distribution, known as “The Ripper Gang”, announced the release of 2009.1 in the GNOME and KDE variant, which is now available for free download. Unfortunately, the KDE version is old 3.5.10. The KDE4.x will occur in the repository, as soon as the authors stabilize it.
