Those of you that are using Windows Vista and its different predefined settings daily, feel that those are insufficient for you. Also, you are used to change your settings with the RUN command line, and you must be wondering why this command is omitted from Vista, as the same command existed in all of the previous Windows versions. Today’s article explains how to set up RUN command in the Start menu in two easy steps or ten seconds.

You can switch on the RUN command line in new Windows version by clicking the Start menu with the right mouse button; choose Properties, and then Customize. You can change the settings related to Start menu in new dialogue screen (Customize Start Menu). Go down to the middle of the list and check the Run command option. Besides switching the RUN command on/off, in this dialogue screen you can also change the number of icons in the menu, their size, etc.

After this action, next time you run the Start menu, the command line will appear on the right side of the menu.
