CAPTCHA mailware protection from D-Link

D-Link for devices intended for home users and small offices offered an upgrade to a new level of protection against malware. D-Link will increased security of router for home use and small offices via firmware upgrades. D-Link has added CAPTCHA protection at the login on the router, to prevent more and more upgraded and advanced malware attacks.

Last generation of malignant programs are able to access the user’s router and change the DNS settings, and thus divert traffic to its own network. The company admits that this move certainly will not prevent all the malware, but a new level of security is definitely a good. Update is available for a wide range of devices such as the D-Link DIR-625, DIR-628, DIR-655 or DGL-4500, and is available on the official website.
