Windows 7 – battery killer

In Redmond cannot believe that Windows XP cannot seem to die yet. Instead, XP still live on their computers and blogs and forums on the web and in some segments continue to show better performance than Windows 7 which was declared as XP killer.

The last example is the battery life tests conducted on the laptops on several sites jkOnTheRun, Liliputing and LaptopMag.

Three independent, separate web sites and all results are the same – depending on the tested laptop, Windows 7 “suck” all the power from its battery for half an hour which is an hour earlier than Windows XP. Although Windows 7 look good and give more, owners of laptops on the move who do not use them at home or work as a replacement for a desktop computer, probably still have a reason to “downgrade” to Windows XP …
