Apple again delays start of selling of the white iPhone 4

By Detector | 28 October 2010

Apple again delays start of selling the white iPhone version 4 for spring next year. The news was officially confirmed by Apple spokeswoman Trudy Muller, but this time she does not reveal the reasons for delay, only that the production of white iPhones is much more demanding than the company expected.

About previous delays there are few theories which ranged from inability to maintain the same level of white color of all production process (the rumor is that Apple want to first put a patent on the white color which will be used for this iPhone) and also all the problems with backlight. Anyway, those who want special edition of Apple’s smartphone in white will have to wait some time or can optionally choose the black version, which in the last quarter is sold in 14.1 million copies.

White iPhones? I like the idea. But i don’t want to buy one. Cause white tends to get dirty very easy. So no sir, i’ll stick with the black one.
