Amazon is not under attack of WikiLeaks activists

Several European Amazon sites were inaccessible on Sunday about a half hour, but the company quickly said that was a problem was due hardware faults and not hacking attacks.

Amazon’s site in the UK, France, Spain and Germany were unavailable on Sunday from about 9:15 to 9:45, which immediately prompted speculation about the hacking attacks related to Wikileaks. Specifically, Amazon found itself the target of activists who support the Wikileaks considerin

g that the company threw out few controversial sites from its EC2(hosting) service. But in the Amazon were quickly dismissed speculation about hacking attacks by stating that the problem is related with hardware located in their center in Dublin which serves a variety of European sites.

However, activists who support Wikileaks already attacked PayPal, Visa and MasterCard because these companies deny payments for the support of Wikileaks.
