Finaly, iPhone 4 for any carrier

By Detector | 14 June 2011

iPhone 4 is coming unlocked for any mobile network, so now you can use it in any country worldwide on local GSM mobile networks.

Why Apple make this move? One of the reasons is very fast market penetration of android based phones and android platform overall (Samsung, HTC, LG, Motorola, Sony Ericsson) make a serious threat, invading deeply into iPhone market share. Competition, we love it !!

Now, the prices: The 16GB iPhone 4 sells for $649 and the 32GB iPhone 4 sells for $749. Unlocked iPhone 4s have been available in Europe for a while now. In Germany the unlocked 16GB iPhone 4 sells for 629 Euro (~$908) and the 32GB iPhone 4 has a price-tag of 739 Euro (~$1,066). So folks, order it from US. It’s cheaper.

If the iPhone 4 is available unlocked, we expect that the iPhone 5 will be also sell as unlocked version, when it comes – unofficially in September.

Hi, I have upgraded my iPhone 4 to 5.0.1 / firmware 04.11.08. My question is, may I downgrade the firmware from 04.11.08 to 04.10.01 using your custom iOS 5.01 ipsw with Sn0wbreeze ???
