Newbie Windows tips: Undo an accidental delete or other function with keyboard shortcut in Windows

By Detector | 13 December 2008

It happens all time, deleting wrong files, accidental move or copy with your mouse, undo some option etc. Why wasting your time searching for deleted files in recycle bin when you can use a simple undo keyboard shortcut “Ctrl+Z” after delete operation and – here it is, the file is back in seconds :) .

You can use this shortcut for Undo (or Edit/Undo menu on window) everything in Windows, in Microsoft Office, Outlook, in your Music and Video Player and in every other program. Wrong copy or move action? Just press Ctrl+Z and everything is back to normal. Try, it works.
